Greg Fawcett, D.D.S.
Hobbies & Interests:
Greg has been an avid skier all of his life. When he was 17, he was one of the youngest candidates to pass the many exams required to become an American Ski Association Full Certified Ski Instructor. During his college years he attended classes Spring, Summer, and Fall Quarters so he could teach at Snoqualmie Pass during the winter, thereby enabling him to pay for his own college education.

Sailing Puget Sound is Greg’s newest hobby! In his spare time he can be found rain, snow, or shine at Shilshole Bay Marina where he is sails with the Seattle Sailing Cub. He is passionate about learning all aspects of his new sport and has completed courses in ASA 101 Basic Keelboat, ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising, ASA 104 Bare Boat Chartering, and ASA 105 Coastal Navigation. Greg recently obtained his Captain’s and Master’s Licenses enabling him to charter sailing cruises. Currently his evenings are reminiscent of dental school as he studies long hours perusing navigation charts and sailing books.

The Fawcett’s have lived in Fall City since 1979, where they raised a son and a daughter. They have especially enjoyed being part of a small, close-knit community and being able to know their patients on a personal level. Greg has even participated at the annual Fall City Days’ Dunk Tank several times, giving his patients an opportunity to take aim and get even! Their son, Andy, lives in Issaquah with his cat, Bageera, and his Mini-Schnauzer puppy, Tucker, who he is training to show. He enjoys snowboarding and sailing with his dad and spending time in Fall City with his family. Courtney and her husband live in Renton. She graduated with Honors from Central Washington University in 2009 with a major in Psychology. She hopes to eventually pursue her Master’s Degree in Psychology/Mental Health. One of her best college experiences was spending a semester in Australia where she became Scuba-Certified so that dived on the Great Barrier Reef several times.

Sabra Fawcett, D.D.S.
Hobbies & Interests:
Sabra enjoys spending time in Minnesota at their lake home, The Hermitage, where she grew up. She and Greg have renovated the family home that her grandparents built in 1920 with rocks from the lake, which Sabra manages as a weekly vacation rental for summer vacationing families.

Sabra also spends time sailing on Puget Sound with Greg. She is pleasantly surprised that she doesn’t have to simply be a “good sport”, after discovering that she doesn’t get cold, she isn’t afraid, and she can actually function as an effective first mate! Their first overnight sailing adventure to Port Townsend included an abundance of photo opportunities with fog, seals, light houses, and even a submarine! Sabra’s other hobbies include antiques, writing, and family genealogy research.

After raising a family and experiencing the empty nest, the newest “love of her life” is her six-pound Yorkie-Chon named Bella, who travels everywhere with Sabra under her airplane seat! Bella can even be found in the dental office on occasion where she attracts a lot of attention with her typical Yorkie demeanor of “a little dog with a big dog attitude!”
